I'm sharing three cards made with the April Main Kit. It's loaded with pretty papers from PinkFresh Studios, some chipboard frames, stickers, foam sentiments and wood veneer images.
The only things I added to this kit are card bases, adhesives (double sided tape and foam) and pearls and washi from my stash to add more color.
I love the sunny floral images and pretty butterflies. There are lots of accents with faux stitching that are just lovely.
I love the pretty butterflies and soft colors. It's easy to mix and match the chipboard and printed pieces to make beautiful designs.

This collection hits home with it's rainbow colors, nod to crafting with the stitches, and watercolor soft florals.
The only things I added to this kit are card bases, adhesives (double sided tape and foam) and pearls and washi from my stash to add more color.
Isn't this wood veneer just stunning? This is just one of several included in the kit. Swoon!  I'll be back later in the month to show three more cards made with this month's kit.

My Creative Scrapbook December 2021 Main Kit

I know you're busy buying gifts for everyone else, but don't forget to treat yourself! How about trying a subscription to the My Creative Scrapbook Main Kit of the Month? They select the pattern paper and lots of coordinating supplies and deliver it straight to your front door so all you have to focus on is MAKING! Every month they have several kits to choose from.. their Main Kit, LE - Limited Edition, Creative Kit and Album Kit - so you can choose what's right for you!

The December Main kit is loaded with pretty papers and die cut images from Pink Fresh Studios Holiday Magic Collection. You'll also find a stencil, alphabet stickers, roll of washi tape and some thick die cut words perfect for embellishing.

The only items I added to my projects are the card bases, adhesive, sequins and my own roll of washi tape. Everything else you see was included in the kit. One of the 12" papers includes 3x4" journaling cards that are a great base for layering.

I start my cards by arranging the images on pieces of clear plastic the size of my card base. This makes it easy to pick up the entire arrangement and see how it looks on different color backgrounds.

To add some depth to my designs I adhere some of the images with adhesive foam tape.

I love to make cards with scenes so I was delighted to find these cute houses and YAYYY a tree to make a fun setting. I cut pattern paper in waves to create hilly landscapes.

The Masonite word sentiments are beautiful "as is" but I think they'd look great painted too. I need to pick up a couple of paint daubers so I'm ready for next time.

A real stand out in this kit are the big sentiment die cuts that are printed in color with mixed fonts and and are embellished with images.

Fusion Challenge - Summer Fruit Cake

Hi friends! Are you looking for a card challenge to play? A new one starts today at Fusion Card Challenge! You'll love this challenge because there are three ways to play.. you can play along with the sketch, be inspired by the photo, or FUSE them together and play with BOTH!

This time we have a fabulous fruit cake as our inspiration photo! It's layers of watermelon topped with cherries and berries. YUM! What a wonderful summer treat!
I went digging for some fresh fruit in my stash and came up with Pink Fresh Studio's Fruitastic. It's got lots of fruits including lemon, orange, pear, apple, strawberry and more.
My background is an ombre orange distress ink panel topped with the Pink Fresh Studio Geo Floral background panel.
The sweet sentiment makes this the perfect card for a special friend.
Now it's your turn! Now it's your turn! Are you ready to play? I wonder how you will interpret the photo! Maybe you need a little more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the team. Just click on their names below to jump to their blogs.

The 12 Kits of Occasions - Love Is In The Air

Oh Happy Day! t's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.
Our hostess this month is Michelle Leone from Pretty Periwinkle blog! Michelle put so much time and effort into this kit - there double (and triple) stamped die cut flowers, GOLD EMBOSSED images and sentiments, and intricate die cut images and words. Michelle even hand stamped some of the background paper you see! The theme is filled with messages of love and friendship! I made SEVEN cards! Everything was a pleasure to work with - ready to go.. no coloring required.

I love the pop of Periwinkle color you'll find through out..either in the ink or the papers - a wonderful homage to her blog name and I'm guessing.. her favorite color!
Ready to see more cards made with Michelle's wonderful kit? Check out The 12 Kits of Occasions Blog where you'll see a sample from each of the designers as well as a complete list of ingredients that were supplied. You can also click on these links below to jump to other designers with projects to share today!

Hugs and have a great day!
