Peace on Earth & Instagram Giveaway!

Today I'm sharing a snowy scene because that's what I see outside my window. Yesterday it was in the 40's and today it's down in the teens! That's life in the Midwest! LOL! I love the Winter Trees die set and actually have TWO sets so I can cut more at one time!

I created a pink background with an Argyle Piercing Plate and then cut snow drifts with the Snowy Hills die using white and white glitter cardstock.

I decided on a stitched yellow heart for a sun and added a sentiment attached to a pretty layered glittery snowflake. It was fun adding the flat back pearls for a little bling.

Pink & Main December Release and Giveaway!

The Pink & Main December release is here, and it’s a sweet one! Coffee and chocolate and donuts, oh my! Everything sweet and delicious is featured in this month's release.

My card today features the new Hot Drink To Go die set! It includes the cup and all the accessories from the sleeve to the waves of steam escaping out the top of the cup.

I love the details like the stitching on the circle, and the little splash stick (the set actually includes two).

The paper with coffee beans is called Donut Forget, the pink papers are from the older Bright Botanicals paper pack. The stamp is from the Grande Sized set that has lots of clever coffee themed sentiments.

Deer Winter Greetings

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! Boy is it COLD outside! I'm staying INSIDE as much as I can. I love looking out the window and seeing the deer outside and of course like most of my neighbors, I put out some food for them this time of year.

Today I've got a winter scene in pretty pink! I started with a watercolor panel that I painted with Lindy's Magical Powders. If you haven't tried these I totally recommend them. All you do is spritz some paper and then shake some of the pigment powder over them and they bloom into beautiful colors. They even have shimmer ones that add a glittery effect to your design. Next I cut the Oval Forest View die from white cardstock and layered it over the water colored panel. I trimmed the edges and then adhered the assembled oval to a panel of hot pink cardstock.

The finishing touch was to add the cute little deer from the Winter Pals set, and a simple greeting that I cut with a 1/4" sentiment strip.
