Well Hello Friend! I sure hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing a pretty floral hello card made with the Meadow Motifs Stamp Set. 

This card starts out with a distress ink background of Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar. I added some darker inking around the edges with Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry.

I knew I wanted to make a wreath with the pretty florals. I created a circle frame as a guide by cutting two of the Zig Zag Stitched Circles at the same time. Inside the frame I added a smaller circle stamped with a sentiment from from Tropic Like It's Hot.

The flowers are inked with Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers.

I added little butterflies from the set because let's face it.. they're very tempted by those pretty flowers!

Momenta Beautiful Butterfly Trio

I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm making with Momenta craft products. You can find them at your favorite local store like Hobby Lobby or on line at Scrapbook.com They make LOTS of different products including craft dies, stamps, embossing folders, pattern paper and more. 

I used the Butterfly Trio die set to make this card. I cut the largest butterfly from gold card stock and used the negative to frame the "Thanks" sentiment from the Hello Word Fetti die set. It's a great value because you get several word sentiments for around $13.

I die cut the smaller butterflies and adhered them to a lighter color solid card stock. Next I fussy cut them so the wings are filled with color. 

Little flowers from the Bird / Branch die set and Peony floral paper make a beautiful garden for the butterflies. 

These pretty detailed butterflies are delightful! And good news! Momenta is releasing a new die cut machine called Freestyle! It's got a 6" platform width for thin wafer cut dies and embossing folders. You can see it here.

Pretty Little Studio - Floral Hello

Can you believe it's September 1? I hope everyone here in the states is enjoying the long holiday weekend. Maybe you're having a barbeque and enjoying a last Summer fling! It's going to be cold here in the Midwest soon! It's already dipping into the 50's at night and I'm sad to see my flowers disappearing.

My favorite part of crafting is that regardless of the weather I can have flowers and fine weather all year round. Crafting is my sweet escape. I layered beautiful Good Vibes die cut florals over a 3x4 Journaling card from the Summer Vibes pack. The card actually has speech bubbles on it, but you can't tell from my layout. The strategically placed florals make the background look like labels.

The florals are adhered with adhesive foam tape and the leafy fronds are adhered directly to the card base. This adds dimension and makes your card look extravagant.

Some sparkly sequins are always welcome in my book. Pretty Little Studio has lots of sizes and colors available so you'll find something to match all your projects. I used Jump For Jade and Frosted Teal. 

The hello sentiment was a die cut from my stash, but you could personalize this pretty card with any sentiment you like. Enjoy your own sweet escape with this fun summery collection!
