A new challenge begins today at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog. We present a new challenge for you on the first Wednesday of every month. This time you are kindly asked to create a card with a window. You can die cut, punch, or even hand cut a window with a blade... and then what to put inside said window? Well an image, or a sentiment, how about nesting a die inside that window? Me? I decided to make a shaker card. To add to the fun Mary (the owner of Serendipity) asked us to CASE (copy and share everything) a fellow DT member. I hope it's ok that I reached into the vault for this one. I saw this tag that SSDT Alumni Cathy Weber made a while back and pinned it onto my secret Pinterest board "Things That I'm Smitten With". I love the white on kraft, lace and pearls. Here's Cathy's design....
I embossed the image in white on two pieces of kraft card stock. I die cut one and then layered it on top of the second, creating a pocket with adhesive foam tape. I filled the shaker with pearls, buttons, sequins. I got lucky and found the same lace Cathy used, and some satin ribbon too. Here's my version of Cathy's tag.
