Tupelo Designs LLC - Flowers For You!

Happy Friday!  We made it through the week.  I know this one was tough for lots of you.. getting the kiddo's back to school, or at least READY for back to school.  This is the last semester for my little boy - he'll be graduating from college (fingers crossed) in January!

Today I'm playing with the Concord & 9th Petals and Pallets set from Tupelo Designs LLC!  I'm quickly becoming addicted to this company and can't seem to get enough of their fun clever designs! The store is always stocking new products like the Pineapple Perfection, Turnabouts and Fill in Stencils.  I want them all! 

This stamp set comes with a wood grain print that's the perfect size for stamping the slats of the crate die in the coordinating die set.  I cut the die from colored paper (a light tan) and stamped it with brown ink.

The assortment of florals in this set is beautiful - it's fun to personalize the flowers by stamping them in different colors and arranging them as you like.  I wanted to fit all the flowers on this one to show you all the designs in the set.

Fusion Card Challenge - Orange and Black

Yep!  No need to adjust your screen.. that's totally a Halloween card!  Some folks could do Christmas all year.... me?  I could totally do Halloween!  It's my favorite holiday.  Yes... Honestly!

When I saw the orange and black stationary at Fusion all I could see was Halloween!.  I had a very similar paper to the black and white in the photo inspiration - it's part of the Trick or Treat Collection at Pretty Little Studio.. and ah well.. it just made itself from there!  

So what do you see?  Maybe you will pick up on some different things.. maybe the clips, stapler or the little buy on the block?  He looked like a jack o lantern to me! LOL!

Maybe you're not loving the black and orange.. that's ok.. you can work off the sketch.   I used the sketch too.. only I changed the circle into a large flag shape.

I layered black and orange papers.  To break up the patterns I added a solid border of orange card stock cut with a pretty stitched scallop border from Pretty Pink Posh. 

I added a tab with a word sticker and some sticker stars and some sequins to finish the design!

I love the vintage images you can find at Pretty Little Studio. They give me that nostalgic feeling of youthful memories.. cards in the mail from my Grandparents with a dollar tucked inside!

Sending You Sunshine!

I hope you're having  a great day!  I saw that my friend Tracey McNeely is the Muse this time at Muse Challenge!  I've long admired Tracey's clean and simple style - she's always taking me to school.  Today's my turn to case her!

 And here's what I made! 

I kept the same layout as Tracey, creating a distress ink background in Squeezed Lemonade for this sweet girl from Pretty Pink Posh Summer Friends.   I thought the yellow was perfect with the "sending you sunshine" sentiment.

The little hippo has his balloons, my girl has her beach ball!   I added exactly three sequins.. just like Tracey.  Mine are in Sunshine Glow!
