All You Need Is Love

Thanks for stopping by! I hope life is good in your little corner of the world. Today I'm sharing a card made with the Love Is Kind Collection. This is the latest release from Pretty Little Studio and it's my new favorite!

This collection has all the extras you've come to expect, but you'll also find some new here! Like the die cut journaling card I used on my card today. It's printed on one side and plain white on the other with the die cut word LOVE! I added pattern paper underneath so the letters look pieced.

I added a die cut border along the left edge of the card and a sentiment tab along the top. Double stacked butterflies and an affectionate sentiment complete the theme.

I really love the papers in this collection. Many of them look pieced but are actually printed with several patterns on each so it gives the look of a fussy pieced card when it's actually printed that way.

Rain or Shine

Hi and a big thank you for stopping to say hello! It's been mostly rain here for the past few days. Being inspired by nature I thought it would be fun to make a weather themed card.

I decided to focus on the rainbows that only a good shower can bring. My background papers (from the Pretty Little Studio Love Is Kind Collection) are sky blue. I topped them with a rainbow starburst print journaling card and some scallop die cut edges.

I topped that with some clouds! The yellow butterfly looks like the sun peeking through with the promise of a beautiful day!

The collection has lots of great sentiments to choose from but I knew that this was the one!

I'm Glad We're Friends

Hi Friends! I hope your summer is in full bloom and that your garden is gifting you with new flowers every single day! Have you seen the newest paper collection from Pretty Little Studio? It's called Love is Kind! You'll find lots of beautiful in this collection with fun prints, bold colors and messages of love. I am especially smitten with the beautiful butterflies and florals.

The theme of this collection is friendship and there are loads of sentiments that celebrate you and your bestie and how important your relationship is!

I love all the extras in this collection and tried to fit lots of them on my design. The focal point of my card is a large tag that is stacked with die cut flowers and butterflies. I added a tab on the right edge and some sticker sentiments too.

This collection has lots of pretty papers including the one on the background of my card. It's printed with the mixed designs so I didn't have to do any work mixing or matching. There's even some faux stitches printed on the paper, but I added some clear sticker stitches as well.

Best Together

This collection has all the extras! I love to lay them all out and mix and match the pieces. For this card I started with the peachy roses. I selected all the florals that were a similar color and arranged them adding a bit of foliage and a sprinkle of pretty butterfly die cuts.

To repeat the color of the florals I added an orange sentiment, friends ticket stub, ban die cut scalloped border.

The pretty papers are gorgeous with many of them with multiple patterns so you don't have to piece them together yourself.

If you love florals this collection is absolutely for you! It's total eye candy!

A Heart Full Of Love!

The new papers include printed, clear, vellum and some even have a mixed media look. They take all the guess work out of mixing and matching prints because it's already been done for you - printed on one sheet.

There's lots of embellishments too! For this card I started with the frame in the bottom right corner. I added beautiful die cut florals behind the frame and then stacked on lots of embellishments. I can't resist adding some faux stitching with the clear stickers in the collection!.

The mixed printed papers add lots of interest. Think graph paper with florals, striped rainbows, gingham and more all on one sheet!

Love Is When We're Together

Have you seen the newest paper collection from Pretty Little Studio? It's called Love is Kind! You'll find lots of beautiful in this collection with fun prints, bold colors and messages of love.

I'm smitten with the new papers that have a mixed media look. They take all the guess work out of mixing and matching prints because it's already been done for you.

There's lots of embellishments too! For this card I stacked a 3x4 journaling card that had a preprinted sentiment, with a frame and then added die cut clouds with adhesive foam tape. I wanted them to rain hearts and shower love on the recipient.

A tab and mini sticker sentiment are added to the top of the journaling card, and to add a little more interest I tucked a die cut scallop border along the left edge.

Everything comes together beautifully because it's all color coordinated to match. The hardest part is deciding what to make first!

Friends Are The Family We Choose

I'm so excited to share a card made with the new Pretty Little Studio Collection called Love Is Kind.

This collection focuses on love and friendship! The images are total eye candy... think gorgeous florals and beautiful butterflies. You'll also find a sprinkle of strawberries and cherries, bees and ladybugs. Summertime captured!

I love the papers that remind me of mixed media backgrounds. If you're not the best at mixing and matching prints, no worries because the papers are printed in a style that already looks pieced. It couldn't be easier to make cards that look fussy, but are flat and clean.

Of course you can expect all the extras.. journaling cards, die cut boarders, sticker stitches, tabs, frames and lots more.

Every Cloud

Hi Friends! Thanks for stopping by! I hope life is good and that you're having a great day! I'm enjoying the warmer weather and watching the view out my window change every day. Yes.. there's been alot of rain.. but it's sure making everything grow!

My card today features the Pretty Little Studio "You Are My Sunshine" Collection! It's absolute sunshine on paper! I love the rainbow colors, inspirational messages and beautiful images.

This collection has all the extras! You'll find die cuts, journaling cards, stickers and so much more. My favorites in this collection are the beautiful blooms and pretty butterflies! I like to use journaling cards to create focal points. This one with the sun and bright message are the perfect place for this colorful butterfly.

My favorite finishing touches are the die cut borders and clear sticker faux stitches. The stitches come on a sheet with different patterns and lots of colors to choose from.

You & Me!

I hope you're getting out and seeing all the flowers blooming this time of year! In my area I'm spying Tulips, Daffodils, Lilacs, and Tulip Trees. The fruit trees are also in bloom and they're blanketing the sidewalks with showers of petals.

Yes! I adore flowers! That's probably why I'm so smitten with Pretty Little Studio. Almost all of their collections have a gorgeous set of floral die cuts to embellish your projects yet. These pretties are from the You Are My Sunshine Collection.

This collection has all the extras. I really love the mixed paper packs - prints, clear, vellum, and collage sheets that look like they're pieced together, but are actually printed. This one has a mix of flowers and newsprint.

I used a journaling card to create a focal point for the blooms. Faux clear sticker stitches in black keep your eyes on the flowers. The pops of black from the stickers, sentiment and scallop border bring it all together with bold contrast.
