Howdy!

Well howdy! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with some new dies I bought for myself over the holidays. Mr. J. tells me to pick what I want and I wanted these from Concord & 9th!

Where to start? That Mystic Moth background is fabulous! I did a monochromatic inlay in shades of peach/orange. I love that I can pop out the moths and use them "as is" too if I like!

I topped that fun background with the Bootcut die. The set includes lots of ways to embellish the basic boot design - you can add a stitched detail, flowers, stars, or this mesa design.

The set also includes some florals so you stuff the boot full of flowers. I added gem centers to the flowers as well as some gold glitter horseshoes and gems for even more bling!

I'm linking up to Time Out Challenges where they want you to make with something you love to do. Well I love to make personalized cards that make the recipient feel extra special. This card is for my daughter in law who loves anything country!

12 Kits of Occasions - Fall Splendor

It's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.

Our hostess this month is Birgit Norton from craftingwhileIwait.blogspot.com. She's put together a kit that we're calling Fall Splendor! It's loaded with sweet images from Honey Bee Stamps, Concord & 9th and dies from Impression Obsession, Echo Park, Frantic Stamper and Lawn Fawn. The pretty papers are from Carta Bella Fall Market Collection. I made 5 cards so here goes....

The 12 Kits of Occasions - August 2020 Simple Leaves

Hi friends! It's the last day of August and that means that it's time for the 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.

This kit from Marybeth Lopez of Marybeth's Time For Paper was filled with clean lines of woodgrain print paper, and crisp die cut leaves. The simplicity of the images calls for CAS designs with a touch of sparkle - pure Marybeth style! I tried to channel Marybeth and case her style. I hope you can see her style through me here today.

The beautiful images are from The Greetery, Altenew, The Stamp Market and Concord & 9th. I added only a few elements - mostly Wrapped Stitched Rectangles from Memory Box. I had lots of fun making these 5 cards and they came together so quick.

The 12 Kits of Occasions - Happy Birthday!

Oh Happy Day! t's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.

Nancy Penir from Artful Notions is our hostess this month and she put together an amazing kit with a birthday theme. Nancy always amazes me with how she transforms the papers with ink, glitter and the most amazing details.

Her kit this month includes My Favorite Things, Spellbinders, and even a cute purse gift box from Concord and 9th. Many of the die cuts were left in clean white card stock ready for us to transform. I tried to channel Nancy and get my inky on! I hope I did her proud!
