Potion Bottle Shakers

Halloween is my most favorite holiday of the year! I love that you can be whoever you want if only for a day. For me Halloween has to be spooky but beautiful at the same time. I want the glamor of treats to tempt you to take a second look. I'm joining the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge with this card!

Pretty Pink Posh has done it again! Another fabulous release! The new Potion Bottle Shaker Set is awesome! I cut mine in lots of fun Halloween colors.. purples and greens and filled them with glass beads to shake shake shake!

I embellished the green bottle with dragon wings from the Halloween Bucket Additions and the purple bottle with spider webs from the Halloween Holder Additions.

I love a little sparkle and shine for Halloween - it must be magic after all! So the bottle tops and bands have some glitter paper.

These are the new Spider Friends and boy are they cute! I tried to include as many of the pieces from the set as I could but still didn't include them all!

I love that little candy bucket and bow that you can accessorize your spiders with.

The background is a new cover plate called Spider Web Cover Plate that I made into a shaker with Boo To You Colorful glass beads as a filler. If you look close you'll also see some silver stars and confetti bits all from Pretty Pink Posh.

Happy Halloween - Best Witches

It's finally here! Happy Halloween! Today I'm wishing you a magical Halloween filled with fun, fabulous costumes and of course CHOCOLATE!!!

I'm sharing a card with the cutest witches ever from the Pink and Main Crafted By stamp set! This set includes several adorable witches that you can personalize by changing skintone, hair and costume colors for your favorite little trickster!

Instead of pumpkins I surrounded my little witch in a garden of orange colored mushrooms from the Snailed It stamp set. Of course she's collecting ingredients for potions accompanied by her familiar cats and a few frogs.

Her sister is flying through the crisp Autumn air on a broom. To give her the appearance of motion I added some leaves from the Pumpkin Patch Cuties stamp set. The finishing touch is a sprinkle of On The Town jewels!

I hope you're smiling and the next time you think about making a scene card that you consider mixing a few sets together. I think you'll be delighted with the results!

Sweet Halloween Mug

Today I'm playing along with the Die Cut Divas Challenge because they speak my language.. They LOVE die cuts and want you to play along using your favorites!

The Pretty Pink Posh Winter Mug series is one of my favorites. Once you have the mug die there are lots of different ways to dress it up for different occasions. I used the Spooky Mug Additions set that includes the sweets, and little ghosts too!

I used the new Spider Web Border to look like a lace doily to set the mug on. I love all the little extras in this set - how cute is that ghost that's holding the pumpkin?

I die cut the lollipops from the set and added a big bow using the Beautiful Bows die set.

Your Spooktacular!

Boo To YOU! It's almost Halloween! Today I'm playing along at Word Power where the focus of your design should be a word. My word today is BOO!

Have you seen the Pretty Pink Posh seasonal coverplate dies? This is the latest one called Pumpkin, but you'll find them for other occasions too including ornaments, Christmas trees, hearts, stars, and butterflies. The panel covers an A2 size card and has lots of great details like stitching around the cut outs and different patterns on each of the little cut outs.

I added some gold glitter paper behind the A2 panel so that when I inserted the colorful die cut pumpkins the gold would shine through the openings.

I topped the panel with a Large Boo Shadow word die cut paired with a strip sentiment from Halloween Sentiment Strips set.

The finishing touch is always a little bling. I used Sunset Orange flat back pearls to add some extra color and shine! Have a great day and I hope you find some time to make!
