Pretty Little Studio - Wicked Good!

If you haven't seen the new Goosebumps Collection at Pretty Little Studio then you're in for a WiCKED GOOD Surprise! You're going to love this Halloween collection! The colors and patterns are fun and fresh.. the orange and black you'd expect with a pop of blues in royal and soft sky! The prints are amazing too.. chevrons, stripes, and newsprints just to name a few!

The cool spider tag from the Ghost Town die cuts pack is the focal point of my design.

All the die cut embellishments frame this tag. The pumpkin is from the Spooktastic pack. I attached it with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. I topped it with a circle cut apart from the Scaredy Cat cut aparts. This is a sheet of 15 printed circles that you can punch out with a 1" circle punch. The cut aparts are quickly becoming one of my favorite embellishments because they look fussy but they're very affordable at .99 a sheet. The "Trick or Treat" sentiment peeking out from under the pumpkin is also from a cut apart sheet called Spellbound - this sheet is a bit smaller and is only .49 a sheet of 15 cut apart words.

The stars are from the Witch's Brew Die Cuts pack. They look great scattered or layered (like under the Boo-Ya Flair). The pack even includes some corners so you can embellish 'til your heart's content! The finishing touch for me is always the sequins. There's lots of colors available in the shop for the perfect match to any collection, including these in Breezy (blue) and Buttered Corn (yellow).

Told you that you'd love this collection! It's really a treat to create with!

Tupelo Designs LLC - Brightside

TGIF!  I hope you're mind is on the weekend and you're making plans!  Here in the midwest we're enjoying summer's last Hurrah!  I'm beginning to see leaves falling from the trees - we have some Poplars (Cotton Woods) in the yard and they're the first to drop!  My mind is telling me to soak it all in and enjoy because it's going to get cold before you know it!
You know I'm totally addicted to dies.  I found a few I really love in the store that I just couldn't resist.  Tupelo Designs, LLC has lots of your favorites, and if you spend some time looking around you're sure to find some new favorites like I did!  This pretty die is "Look on the Bright Side" from PinkFresh Studio.  You can find them in the store here.

I painted the background with Distress Ink reinkers in Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron,
Tumbled Glass and Broken China.  (See all the colors here) I keep mine in a palette because I paint with them pretty regularly.  I'm not a big fan of this design.. it's not spill proof, and the inks tend to get on the cover where I have my swatches painted.

I painted on Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Paper, it's thick and super white making it easy to work with!

A splatter of white ink is the finishing touch before adhering the intricate die cut. A needle tip applicator is best for this.
Tupelo Designs LLC has lots of your favorite brands all under one roof! You'll love that you can mix and match products and never worry about shipping because it's FREE (USA only) with no coupon required. I always find what I'm looking for and am happy with how it's packaged and shipped.

Want a peek at my most recent order? I'll be working with these on future posts!
Some new Concord and 9th, and My Favorite Things!
I'm getting ready for the holidays too with some Waffle Flower!

CAS(E) this Sketch - You're So Thoughtful

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  I'm playing at CAS(E) this Sketch this week!  I love a sketch challenge!
I see lots of layers here!!   This is what I made!

I started with a polka dot background and topped it with two Lacy Scallop Frames.  I kept the die cuts in place for the smaller white die cut.  I think it looks like lace peeking through the flowers.

The sentiment is from Whole Lotta Thanks and is stamped on a clean white strip of card stock.

I arranged florals from Reverse Confetti Build A Bunch under the sentiment.  They're all stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers.

There are so many flowers in this set and coloring them in different shades changes their look.  I made sure to add some blue flowers and accents to pick up on the background paper.

I love the rainbow of flowers - bright and beautiful!  Have a wonderful day!
