You're A Catch

Today I'm playing at Creative Creases Challenge where anything goes with a fun fold! I'm sending this one out to all of you who like to fish today!

Pink and Main has been nailing it with all the fun fold cards they've been releasing. You'll find several to choose from. This one is called A Catch!

This is really easy to assemble. Just cut out the pieces! The layers are cut out to match the smaller detail pieces that you just stack one on the other.

The hardest part is selecting what colors to use! Just look at those stripes on this Rainbow Trout!

I added the little dragonflies and a sentiment strip that does come in the set. To assemble you just fold on the creases and attach the panels inside the box you created. Everything folds completely flat and fits in an A2 size envelope.

Comfort and Good Company

Today I'm playing at Girlz Makes Guyz Cards where they want you to make with dogs or cats for your guy! I'm going with the dog because my guy loves dogs and it's got to be a BIG dog because anything smaller is referred to as a squirrel.

The Waffle Flower Cozy Spot die set helps you set the scene with the flooring, rug and recliner. I added a Happy Chevron texture background panel to resemble wall paper.

The background has a coordinating stencil, and yes, there is a stencil to coordinate the scene inside the window too!

The dog is from the Cozy Spot Animals that lets you choose between a dog and a cat! And the sentiment is from the Simple Joy Sentiments.

I think my guy would find this a welcome scene to come home to with time to sit down and relax.

Waffle Flower April Release Sneak Peeks Day 3

Thanks for stopping by! It's day 3 of sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower release. The release will be available in the shop on April 5.

This month marks the three year anniversary of the first Postage Collage Release! We're celebrating with lots of additions to the series including this new Postage Collage Dad Silhouettes stamp set. It's got lots of great images that celebrate fatherhood.

Do you love that wavy background? I first created it a few months ago painstakingly using lots of sticky tape. That process has been streamlined with the new Wavy Line Stencil set! Three layered stencils let you add colorful stripes to your designs to take your making to the next level!

I embellished my card by adding a colorful stripe layer with the Postage Collage coloring stencil. I used sticky tape to mask off each of the stripes before inking it. Yes.. it took a while, but it was worth it!

Pretty Pink Posh DT Announcement and Giveaway!

I've got some happy news to announce today! I'm staying on at Pretty Pink Posh's design team. I have been a member of the team for several years and every time I get renewed I feel like I need to pinch myself. I feel so fortunate and blessed to be able to stay when there is so much talent to compete with.

Every release brings a new surprise and the latest one was especially for the boys. Images included trucks like this Big Dump Truck, emergency vehicles, sports and planets!

I had fun making this scene card! It's easy with the City Buildings die set. I added a green Stitched Strip between the buildings and the roadway to add some greenery. The buildings include two dies that you stack.

Stacked circles become a sunny sky and little clouds are from the Get Well Mug Additions Set. I love that the Big Dump Truck Die includes little rocks to add to the big pile in the back.

I added a sentiment from the Utility Vehicles stamp set to the side of the truck to take the place of a logo.

And now the part you've been waiting for!

Pretty Pink Posh June Release Instagram Hop and Giveaway!

I inked the images with alcohol markers. The background is from an older release - it's the "Dino Dig" stencil. I masked the sky of stars and just left mine blue.
