A Treasure Chest of Memories and Laughter

Hi Friend! Today I'm sharing a card made with the Pretty Little Studio Love Is Kind Collection. I had lots of fun layering lots of different elements to create a cozy patchwork card that is sure to warm your heart !

I started with a panel of printed paper. It looks like I mixed the papers, but they're actually printed to look that way. I topped them with a journaling card and then added a double layer of die cut scallops along the left edge. The sentiment is a die cut, but I always try to rethink the items and often cut sentiments from journaling cards.

I added a small die cut pink striped frame to the journaling card and then a double stack of die cut hearts. Die cut flowers embellish the heart.

The finishing touch is some faux stitch stickers. They're printed on clear plastic so whatever you place them over shows through. I also added a few gems from my stash for some sparkle and shine.

Christmas Cake Pops! YUM!

Today I'm sharing something sweet! Some Christmas Cake Pops from Pretty Pink Posh! YUM! And the best part is eating with your eyes is calorie free!

Today I'm playing along at A Cut Above where Anything Goes as long as you make sure to use a die cut. Die cuts are my favorite so you know I'm in!

All of my cards start the same.. I arrange the images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. I wanted to include as my pops as I could on my card so this one is a mini slimline to fit FOUR pops!

They were easy to assemble and I really enjoyed watching them come to life as they were pieced together. The background is an A2 panel Argyle Pierced Plate that I stretched for the longer size by adding a Doily Border to the top and bottom edge of the card.

The finishing touch was a sprinkle of some flat back pearls and gems. I hope you're smiling!

Layle By Mail Season Pass

Today I'm sharing three cards I made with the Layle By Mail Summer/Fall Season Pass. I was first introduced to Layle Konar when I was on the Simple Stories design team. Layle was our coordinator and I was always impressed with her amazing projects!

The Season Pass is a quarterly program/kit with exclusive products for memory keeping enthusiasts, including paper, die cuts, stickers & stamps. Perfect for traveler's notebooks, scrapbook pages, mini books, cards and more.

It includes:
(12) exclusive 12x12 double-sided papers + the 12x12 cover sheet also has an additional pattern on the back side :)
(68) exclusive die cuts
(78) exclusive wordstrip stickers on a 5x7 sticker sheet
(18) exclusive photopolymer stamps on a 4x6 stamp set
(3) rolls of exclusive washi tape with matching patterns from the kit
(2) standard wide lined traveler’s notebook inserts (5" wide x 8.25" tall)
(1) 13x13 craft storage pouch

This kit is focused on Summer and Fall so you have papers that celebrate Summer (July), Back To School (August), and Autumn (September). The papers are coordinated to work together no matter which month or occasion you are celebrating but I'm focusing on the more "fall" looking elements today.

By fall I'm spying bushels of apples, woodland critters, and colorful leaves. As you can see, the other elements I used like the butterflies, tree branches and florals could fit any of those months - it's all up to you!

I love that the papers are a nice thick quality. They're double sided so I have more paper choices, and of course all the accessories - die cuts, word strip stickers and washi!

There's also an optional notebook that you can add to your kit. We like to take road trips and document our stops noting the place we stopped or significant things we've seen and even the cost of gas and food so we can plan future trips. A decorated journal would be welcome on any of our adventures! There is a small price increase to add the albums.

Everything you can see on my cards is included in the kit with the exception of the card bases, solid matt backgrounds and adhesives.
