Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Today it's looking pretty gloomy out - more rain.  I need a little pick me up so I'm playing along today with Muse Challenge #272. Here's what it looks like..

This card was created by this week's Guest Muse, Steffi. I love the feminine feel of this card.. the soft pink and green, the mix of stripes and florals. Here's what she inspired me to make ...

I focused on the heart shape with the stripes inside. Living in the Midwest I have to take advantage of every beautiful sunny day! I know the seasons change quickly and a trip to the beach just isn't the same any other time of year! 

The Pretty Pink Posh Summer Friends set screams summer! I love all the kids looking cool wearing shades and floppy hats, but my favorite is this girl with her unicorn floatie.   Her hair in pig tails always reminds me of my little sister who had them for YEARS!!  The set has lots of accessories including a beach ball, soft drink, sand castle and more!

The die cut heart opening is filled with rows of Stacked Layers dies cut in blue card stock to resemble waves.

TupeloDesignsLLC Pretty Poppies!

Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great day! Friday is my day to post for TupeloDesignsLLC Store! They've got a great selection of dies, stamps and everything you need to make from all your favorite stores! 

I love die cuts so I guess it's no surprise that I found these Pretty Poppies from Lawn Fawn! I love flowers!! 

I created a simple color block background by attaching three strips of colored blue card stock. I created a panel by attaching them with washi tape on their reverse side and then trim the panel to fit my card base. 

The poppies are cut with different shades of red card stock and assembled with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. The colorful leaves are tucked under the raised florals.

Pretty Little Studio - Smile for the Camera

I hope your summer is off to a good start. It's always my favorite time of year to take pictures. It seems like finally everyone is all together in one place - the sun is shining and the faces are smiling! The Pretty Little Studio Sweet Life Collection will have you smiling too! As the name implies it does have lots of "sweet" things to discover - cupcakes, drinks, flowers, and so much more! 

I was going for a masculine look for my card today so I stuck with blues and greens. The card started with the camera die cut from the Oh Snap! pack and I repeated those colors in the background papers.

I adhered the camera die cut to a Life is Beautiful Journaling Card because it had lots of little boxes for documenting photographs. I filled in one of the boxes with a die cut sentiment.

I embellished with more die cuts - flowers from Flower Garden and some sparkly sequins. We're always snapping close ups of pretty flowers in the garden and ones we discover when we're away. There's beauty to be found everywhere. 

I love how all the embellishments are all photo related making the theme of the card come together perfectly!
