Happy Friday! Are you counting down to the weekend? I hope the festivities start early for you today! I bought my parents a swing for their yard. I got the easy part - picking it out and paying for it. Now I need to talk DH into picking it up, delivering it to my parents and then putting it together. I'm trying to get my folks to spend a little more time outside - I know how much I love it. My simple pleasure for today was putting out peanuts and watching the blue jays come down and take them away one at a time. A little chipmunk even got in on the action and stole a few!
A new challenge begins today at Tag You're It Challenge! The inspiration this week is from DT member Erin Thiem! It's gorgeous! Lots to love here.. The distressed inky background, the pattern paper peeking from the second layer, the pop of red from the pretty flower, and swoon.. the rings of twine for texture.
I kept lots of elements the same although they look entirely different. A switch of color, flower stamp and embellishments. I turned the twine into a little butterfly bow and added wood sequins to replace the shiny ones on Erin's tag.
Want to see more? Head on over to Tag You're It Challenge, and see the other samples from the design team. There's some new teamies to meet while you're there! I hope you'll welcome them and that you'll find a little time to play along!
