You're In Luck

I love when there's a special holiday in the month. Sometimes the holidays don't really connect with me culturally (just as an example, I'm not Irish) but I love to celebrate them anyway! It gives me a chance to explore other cultures and heck! I want to have a good time too!

The Pretty Pink Posh Lucky Animals is such a fun set! It's got lots of animals and little sentiments that have me thinking of different expressions like You lucky dog! or Lucky Duckie!

All of my cards start the same way! I arrange the images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. This allows me to arrange things until I'm happy and has the added benefit of letting me slip different papers underneath to get a "sneak peek" of the finished card.

For this card I chose a simple Distress Ink background. I shaded into the center so the edges are darker. I splattered the panel with water and then some watered down distress ink to add a little more interest.
