I hope you are having a great week! We've been working in the yard when we get time - getting ready for winter - emptying and putting away flower pots, taking out the garden, and cutting down a dead tree. Fall is defiantly in the air! In the Midwest fall is a celebration of color and overflowing with the bounty of the harvest - bushels of apples, and loads of pumpkins, gourds, and colorful indian corn. Decorations of corn stalks and bales of hay are everywhere!! Trees are putting on a beautiful show of color - each one perfectly painted in shades of yellow, red, orange and apricot.
The Serendipity Stamps blog challenge theme this time is Thanksgiving! And don't you know it will be here before you know it! I made a Thanksgiving card / invitation featuring the wheat sheaf stamp. I colored it up in Copics and matted it on some pretty yellow Authentique paper. I went over the vine leaves with a soft green shade, and the wheat sheaves themselves are colored with only two shades of yellow red. This image would be stunning uncolored, or embossed.
I also made some easy place cards. I stamped and partially colored the swag image, cut the shape into a rectangle, and then cut a few more rectangles in yellow and orange. I used a corner punch to round the corners and added a monogram stamp that I punched out with a circle punch to personalize each place setting.

Oh, wow. You have me dreaming of turkey and dressing right now! I love this card and placecard, the coloring of the wheat sheaf if spot on and I love how you created the little placecard with the alphabet letter on it. Very nice project once again Jeanne.
Oh this is so beautiful! You did an amazing job with these , the card and place cards. Such a pretty stamp and colored perfectly! I love the new die ( new to me) you used, it looks like it was made for this stamp.
Autumn gathering at it's best and the place seating labels are terrific. I love the monogram idea instead of the name. Gives you more space for pretty decorations! :)
Hi Jeanne - just catching up after a week away with my family. This is such a rich autumnal delight - absolutely love those colours, you really have brought out the true beauty of these stamps! Love your invite and your placecards. The spray is a perfect size for your placecards. The initials are the perfect touch.
