Altenew July 2019 Stamp / Die / Stencil / Stamping Mat Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

I love that Altenew has EVERYTHING you need to create including layering inks, pigments inks, markers and now a STAMPING MATT! The silicone grid mat is great for stamping, watercolor, ink blending, heat embossing, and everyday crafting! The mat features inches as well as metric measurements on the edges and a half inch grid. Due to the nature of the silicone surface, some grid lines have slight imperfections and are not completely straight. This will not affect the quality or functionality of the mat.

These gorgeous florals are from a set called Charming Doodles. I stamped the solid colored part of the image, and then the lined detailed images with the new Obsidian Pigment ink. This is an oil based ink perfect for inking crisp detailed lines. The Obsidian is much darker/dramatic and gives a very crisp impression, but remember to stamp the pigment ink second or it will smear. The bitty "I believe in you" sentiment is from the Bright Blossoms stamp set shown on my next card.

The Bright Blossoms florals are beautiful two stamp images that look great. I stamped them in several color combinations and they look wonderful in each. I love the variety of foliage and flower shapes that make arranging these a treat. The Sentiment is stamped on a Nesting Labels die. There are 5 nested dies in the set perfect for layering and stamping images and sentiments.

The florals are layered on a Doodled Dots Cover die layered over a distress ink panel in similar colors.

The Sophisticated Wreath stamp set with coordinating dies is a total stunner! The set includes blooms, berries, and foliage that (again) look great in every color combination I tried.
