PSSC Grateful

Hi!  I hope you're having a great day!  It's a really nice day today in the Chicago area.  There is a nice breeze and it's not too hot.  Don't tell Moriko that - she's panting like crazy!  It made my morning walk a bit easier.  I slept later than usual and I though it would be miserable by the time my feet hit the sidewalk.  I didn't sleep so good last night, a storm came through bringing heavy winds and lots of thunder.

I'm playing along at Paper Smooches Sparks this week.  It's "ANYTHING GOES" and I was happy to color up my new Paper Smooches floral stamp set "Blossoming Buds ".  Something about coloring that is so relaxing!
Once I had the flowers colored up I was a little unsure what I would do next.  Should I fussy cut them?  I decided to die cut them into a circular shape.  I trimmed off the bottom half of the circle with the scalloped cloud die from Borders One.  I stamped the sentiment on colored card stock, cut that with the same circle die and then layered the flower portion on top of the sentiment portion.  Last - for a little something "extra" I added one more layer - a doily.

I hope you are having a beautiful day!  Get out and enjoy some of that sunshine!
