CASE Study #201 - Fabby!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you're enjoying a bright summer day.  If not I have just the thing for you!  LOL!!!   A new challenge begins today at CASE Study!  Did you notice that last week was the 200th Challenge?  Wow!  That is a big mile stone isn't it?  And we're still going strong!    We'll let me tell you...  Miss Chupa is planning a wonderful celebration!!!   Yep!  Lots of birthday prizes and some fun challenges too!

But let me tell you what we have this week :)  Our muse this month is Shari Carroll.  She's done so many fun neat things with dies this month and this one is no exception.   I love how you can read the message through the die cut openings.   I really wanted to replicate this card but couldn't seem to find an image or sentiment stamp that was large enough, or bold enough to stand up to the challenge.  Instead I set my sites on the die cut butterflies and the image graphics peeking through the windows.
Being inspired by summer I couldn't resist some hot colors to go along with the butterfly images.
This new die from Memory Box has a skinny outline of the image which looks perfect here.  It really defines the shapes - so while the butterflies are overlapped you can make out the entire detail of each one.   I added a few extra die cut butterflies to add some dimension.

Check out what the rest of the team did with this one.   And  - we have two guesties this month! Amy Tsuruta and Tenia Nelson!!   Amy and Silke are on Summer break but the rest of the ladies are ready to wow you!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm looking forward to seeing you at CASE Study!
