Fusion Card Challenge - Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi Friends!  I hope you are having a great day!  I can't believe it's March already.  I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring!  We got hit with more snow last night - yes again!  Only about 3" but enough to have to shovel.  If you watched the Chicago Black Hawks play yesterday then you saw the snow coming down!  It was so strange to see them playing outside!

Today I'm playing along with the challenge at Fusion.  If you haven't played there they have a pretty intresting challenge.  Check out the inspiration for the challenge this time.  You can use the images and colors in the photos, or you can use the sketch.  I always like to try to use both.    I was inspired by the color and tried to pick up a few of the elements in the photos like the stripes and lace on the purse in the photos and the bird in the tree.  Here's what I came up with.
Can you tell I'm still day dreaming about Spring?  I can't wait to be sitting outside again on Sunday morning - having breakfast and reading a good book!

f you'd like to play along you still have lots of time - it's a two week challenge.  Maybe I'll see you at Fusion Card Challenge.  Have a great day and stay warm!!

I can't see this not being one of the winners...I love that patterned paper on the curved piece...looks like ornate, elegant wallpaper.
