RR#55 - Treasure Pearls

If you love lace and silk ribbons, pins and pearls, twine and paper flowers then The Ribbon Reel is just the place for you!  They sell some of the most beautiful embellishments for all your crafting needs and twice a month they have a challenge that gives you the opportunity to win a sweet discount off your next order!  All you have to do is play to win.  And it doesn't get easier than that when you have a beautiful inspiration photo like this one called "Treasure Pearls".  Directions this time are to create something inspired by the photo and ADD PEARLS!
I saw the round plate and started thinking about making a round card, but wound up with something more like the photo.  I stamped  a fancy cut round die with a floral pattern embellished with pearls (of course!) and added some pretty green ribbon and a wonderful paper rose!  To get the "double stamped" look of the flowers I stamped with the back of the stamp in a lighter ink for the shape, and then dipped the detailed side of the stamp in a darker ink.  This helped soften the look since there was less white showing under my stamped images.
