Fusion Card Challenge - Trick or Treating

A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge blog! Check out the inspiration photo this time! 

So what do you see? I spy a leafy path down a row of gothic town homes with rod iron gates. The colors are rich and warm with pops of yellow and pink in the fall foliage. Not loving the photo? That's ok you can work with the sketch. If you're feeling clever you can FUSE them together.

You're probably wondering how that dark street turned into this bright scene. I confess.. the photo in the image got me thinking of Salem, and the perfect places I'd love to trick or treat. Every one knows the perfect street.. large old mansions on lots covered with oak trees.. brown crackly leaves blowing down the street.

I started with a distress ink background. I layered the Pretty Pink Posh STARS stencil over the night sky (purple) and used NUVO Golden Glimmer Paste to create gold glittery stars.  If you haven't tried PIXIE SPRAY for your stencils, it's a life changer. It is a light tacky spray that will keep your stencils in place without tearing or leaving any residue behind.     

A circle from the STITCHED DUO TWO makes a full moon for the bats from the BOO stamp set.  I added a SPOOKY FENCE to separate the sky from the grass. It looks like the BEAR FRIENDS are having a chuckle as they spot a skeleton prop on the lawn.
