I hope you're having a great day!! I'm loving all the flowers in my garden ! Each day is a new bloom ready to reveal itself! If you love flowers too then you need to check out the new PoppystampsFlower Patch Stamp Set! It's packed full of floral images - some are solid that you just need to ink, and others are outline drawings that you can color. There are even sentiments so you have everything you need to complete a card. You can see all the images on the linky at the bottom of this post.
I started with a distress background. I wanted the color to peek out from behind the pretty die Woodland Oval Frame. I kept laying the die over the inked area to make sure that the coverage was good. Using the same ink I stamped a few flower images. Last I mixed a little distress ink with water and splattered it over the card. Background complete! Time to decorate!
I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the floral frame and then stamped and die cut lots of leaves and flowers to make a pretty arrangement. The coordinating die cuts make this a breeze. I cut lots of flowers stamped in many different colors so I would be able to choose the ones I wanted for this. I wish you could have seen my desk - so many colors!
The stamp set includes a variety of images that you can use to single stamp ( like the red rose) or double stamps - the darker shade on the purple flower is the same stamp. Even the pattern double stamped on the leaf (the veins) can be used as a single stamped image - and there are die cuts to match both. Don't you love that little butterfly?A sprinkle of clear sequins (I didn't want them competing with the color of the flowers) adds just the right amount of sparkle!
One good turn deserves another ! What a great way to say thank you! I think the recipient will know how much you care with a hand made card!
Have a beautiful day!
Your little purple accents in the background are so pretty, Jeanne. The perfect finishing touch. X
