Oh what a fun challenge for you today at FUSION Card Challenge! Check out the inspiration photo this time! This one is called Port O'Call Polaroid. This is FUSION so you can go with the photo OR the sketch, and if you're feeling clever you can FUSE them TOGETHER.
I'm always trying to be the clever one so I used elements from both sides today! Elements I took from the photo include the nautical theme - stripes, and rich reds and blues...
The scene inside the frame is a sailboat cut from wood veneer. I created a sun by stacking colorful stitched circles. The bottom panel of the paper has a water print on it.. I made sure to let it peek through the frame opening so you can see the sailboat is sitting in the water.
I attached the glittery anchor with some gold shimmer Twinery Twine. Finishing touches include a sprinkle of wood veneer sequins and a bird die cut added to the sunset to complete the scene.
I sure hope you'll join us at Fusion Card Challenge! We love seeing your designs!
