Shall we get started? There's lots to see including three new dies and three new stamps. I made two projects to share today. The first features the new Christmas Tree Farm stamp. I left mine uncolored to show you that this one doesn't need "dressing up".
I added simple embellishments like washi, sequins and a left over scrap of border die cut. Yes.. I do save all my scraps. When I die cut something and don't like the color - cut it again in a new color, I always save the extra cuts.
Remember the Birdies die set that came out a while back? Well they now have a little home of their own. This new Cottage die set comes complete with lots of accessories for you to customize this home . Look a the chimney brick detail and whisp of smoke!
There are curtains, foliage and even flowers for the window boxes. Two new word dies have been released this month too. This is Blessings! There are also coordinated word dies like the "Christmas" sentiment above that you can add to your project to complete a sentiment. These little stamps are on sale for $1.
The double scallop border along the bottom is from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 3 that's available in the store. Did you also know that Serendipity stocks Cheery Lynn dies? You can see them here.
Super cute right?

These are great! The Christmas tree farm stamp is wonderful on its own. I love the colors on the birdhouse card
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness again! Love the uncolored tree farm ( I just made a card with that stamp this morning) I love that stamp and it might be a new favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteYour cottage is beyond adorable with so many happy colors, almost reminds me of the candy land house!
Jeanne - you are the queen of adding "this and that" to your cards to make the perfect combination of embellishments! I love the little red sequins adding just a dab of color to the Tree Farm. The Cottage is a work of art! It would be the perfect little house for Who-ville with all the wonderful bright colors!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your house card is over the top. Such detail and great colors
ReplyDeletegorgeous work! I love the cottage
ReplyDeleteI love stamps with scenes and this one is great. We took our granddaughter to the tree farm last year for the first time and she loved it, and this card reminds me of that lovely day.
ReplyDeletewonderful cards! The stamped scene in the first one looks great in the neutral colors surrounded by the paper and embellishment layers. I love that ribbon. So well done. Then I saw the second card. Oh my gosh, this is the cutest card ever. I love the inlay diecut method so you know I love this card. The dies and colors and papers you chose give this card a wonderful and happy folk art feel. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI just love the cottage die and your card. The snowman is cute, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards.
ReplyDeletethe house is so vintage looking and the birds are so bright and colorful. Great contrast between two cards.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing some wonderful cards.
Gorgeous cards, Jeanne! I can't tell which one I prefer, since they are BOTH so unique and are so YOU! I love the color and the bright bird on your holiday house, and you made the Christmas tree farm have a wonderful old vintage vibe! Love them BOTH!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Michele
Pretty cards. I love the stamping of your first card. Looks like a drawing. TFS
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas tree farm stamp and love the card you created with it. Your bird house is so colorful and cute ! Thanks for sharing !
ReplyDeleteThese are both just terrific! Love all of the sweetness and the second card!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so tempted to color everything but your scene really shows the beauty of black & white designs. Love the sweet scene! The trims are so pretty and frame the scene perfectly.
ReplyDeletethese are both fabulous, Jeanne! Love the Christmas tree farm..the colors & papers are just super. And your cottage is so bright & cheerful. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas tree farm stamp! What a great card you have created!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE seeing uncoloured stamp images, I always forget how striking and effective they can look, and the pops of colour accent it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI also do love the font in the Serendipity word dies, so distinctive. Nice to know there are a couple more.
Two great Christmas cards, two different looks! I love the Christmas tree farm! The little cottage die is so cute, reminds me of a gingerbread house.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas Tree Farm card and the second card is so fun and colorful.
ReplyDeleteI love that farm scene and the way you paired it with the trim. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated with your creativity more and more and more, Jeanne! The duo here - the pretty farm scene in the neutrals with pops of colours and the sweet cottage, rich with colourful details - are completely amazing! You have a knack for 'reading' the images and giving them a voice to showcase how pretty they are, as they are 'meant' to be. I can't imagine that farm scene in way other than this or the cottage other than that. Perfect!
