Hi ! I hope everyone is doing good! It's been rainy and icky out lately - I guess that is a good thing for me because I haven't had much time to wander the yard and I am thankful that I'm not out there watering today! My guys are leaving for BSA Jamboree soon - so trying to make sure they have everything they need for their trip including clean socks that match and some snacks for the road trip.
Have you been enjoying the new muse this month at CASE Study Challenge Blog? It's Jocelyn Olson from Red Balloon Cards Blog! She does amazing things with digital elements, and if you have been looking for the opportunity to show some of the cuties in your life - now would be a good time to get out some photos! I was tempted to use a photo of my kids but they aren't as easy to convince to smile as they used to be. They have little patience for me - their scrappy mom with a camera! I thought I would pass on my fur baby too because we still have a love hate relationship going (that's still my sweet old girl that passed away a year ago in my blog photo). So here's my take on the inspiration - instead of the photograph I went with some cameras - make sense? I know some times it isn't always so obvious is it?
I can't wait to see all the directions this one goes and maybe I'll get a little peek into your world at the same time. Here's a list of the DT - I hope you'll pop on over to say hey!!
Chupa - Iwona Palamountain, Amy Wanford, Andrea Ewen, Clare Buswell, Debbie Hughes,
Jean Martin, Maureen Plut, Teneale Williams, Tasnim Ahmed, Maureen Merritt, Silke Ledlow
If you haven't been playing CASE lately it's time to start coming back - Chupa's planning some fun anniversary activities and you wont want to miss a thing!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Jeanne! Your cards always bring a smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteI love that you went with a camera theme Jeanne. I immediately thought of the two new kitties we have and decided to make something with that, but then I check out your blog and I start thinking of something else altogether. Love what you have done, especially that little ribbon and the cute circles. All those little details really add a lot to your card. Have fun with Elisha with all the guys out of the house!
ReplyDeleteReally fun patterned paper! Love your take on the challenge photo!

And yeah...same problem with my kiddos here...
they turn away and run every time I break out the camera. :(
Don't they realize moms need pictures!!
This is wonderful, and I'm glad you took things in a different direction--very inspiring. I hear you on the photos--everyone in my house is camera shy, and I have almost no pictures as a result.
ReplyDeleteOh this is so fun! Fun papers and colors!
ReplyDeleteMy short stack never ever cooperates for pictures.
This is so fun, Jeanne! LOVE the bright, happy palette and scalloped, sentiment panel, and that background paper is FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeleteWhy the love-hate relationship with the fur baby?! Stubborn puppy?
ReplyDeleteThis card makes me smile. I think you have done such an awesome job with these Lil Inker stamps, Jeanne!
