CASE Study #134 - Funky Florals

I know it's a busy week right?  So much to get ready for Easter this Sunday!  I'll be making a big Polish dinner for my family.  I try to do things a little at a time -shop on one day, set the table the next, make deserts the day before to make it a little easier.  This is the first year my daughter won't be eating with us  - she is stuck at work (her first job).

Well hopefully you have all your ducks in a row too and have some time to play this week!  Maybe you can sneak off for a little quiet time.  I know you will want to be checking out the CASE Study challenge.   Have you seen the new face look that Chupa's given the blog??  There's new badges too!   This is the last week for our muse of the month Julie Ebersole from Paper Trufflez blog.  Check out the inspiration photo all you C&S junkies out there.  I loved how Julie stamped the blue on top of the green and the row of dots along the bottom.  I stamped my flowers in three different colors and ran a border punch along the bottom to get the pierced look of Julie's card.

Check out what the rest of the design team did with this one - lots of different ways you can take this to the next level and make it all your own!

  1. Jeanne--I absolutely love this. You know, I saw that card in my reader, and thought it was something I might have made. You are being corrupted (in a good way) by all the CAS vibes out there in blog land. Such a fun card--love the design and the colors.

  3. Just look at the CAS Jeanne! Did it kill you to go
"bow-less"? Love the perfect scattering of those distressed flowers...your color combinations are once again spot on and love the use of the border punch on the bottom. I am going to make this challenge my first card now that I am back home again!

I took Monday off from work just to get the house picked up for Easter dinner - we'll have 10 - the only time my house gets picked up is when I'm having people over!

  7. Too funny but I thought the same as Joyce and Cathy, a CAS card, no bow, no layers, no flowers what is going on? But I have to say that this is just as beautiful as all of your other cards and those colors are so festive!

  10. This card is just filled with cheer! Yellow/orange/pink is one of my favorite combinations and these stamps look PERFECT in that color scheme!

Hope your Polish dinner went well! Knowing you, I'm sure it was a great success! Did you make pierogies? (Did I spell that right?) Love those things!
