I think time is getting away from me lately! I should have posted this one at the beginning of the month but I sort of got side tracked. Sometimes I get focused on something and everything else falls by the wayside. Maybe it just didn't feel like January here in the Midwest lately. Where I am we haven't had much snow - in fact, we haven't had to dig out the shovels even! Yesterday we got a light coating of snow - and the temperature has dropped just as winter should be and I got inspired to make my January card.
If you've been following me you know I am working my way through this set of month stamps from Serendipity. I think they are just too pretty to break out for just a calendar or scrapbook page. What a great way to make a special birthday card, or just to celebrate the dayl! Each month has little images that are perfect for the month they feature. January has snowflakes, mittens, hat and a scarf. I thought it would go perfectly with this ice skating paper! I blinged it up a lot because after all diamonds look like ice right? I added a bit of cozy warm velvet ribbon in there too!
Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow is the Serendipity Stamps challenge - see you then! Have a beautiful day!Jeanne

Love that paper...

I kind'a wish it would snow...but just for a day or so...
otherwise I'm trapped with the kids and I literally lost a piece of one of my eyes a couple years ago due to snow days so they're very hazardous to my health...
so just a day because it's so pretty on the first day! :)
