Are you ready for another edition of the 12 Kits of Christmas? Just to refresh your memory, this is a group of 12 designers. Each has been assigned a month to provide the Christmas crafting supplies to the other 11 members. We all receive the same supplies and post our creations on the last day of every month. It's interesting to see how we all come up with something different with the same kit of supplies
Our hostess this month is Joyce from cards-by-the sea. Joyce has stepped in and introduced our "First Kit of Hanukkah". Chanukah, also spelled Hanukah, or Hanukkah, celebrates the rededication of the temple in Jerusalem. It is also known as the festival of lights and is celebrated by lighting candles on a Menorah, playing dreidel, and of course opening presents! I was excited to receive this kit because now I will be prepared for my Jewish friends this holiday season.
I am going to keep the rest of this post short because it is so photo heavy. I don't know how or why, but since January I have been adding a card or tag each month. May is no exception - I came up with 5 creations. Here they are:
If you like these, why not see what the rest of the team came up with for this months challenge? Here's a list of the designers with links to their blogs!

ReplyDeleteFabulous, fabulous cards Jeanne!
5? Are you trying to put us all to shame? LOL, love all your cards and tags Jeanne. All that gold really screams "Jeanne" and if all our projects were lined up in a row...I would instantly know which were yours. You added such great touches to each one, love the first card with the combo of patterned papers and pinked images and that dreidel card with those neat layered die cuts behind the image...fabulous! Great job, and I imagine we will be seeing 6 projects for June!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great post and I love the pictures of these awesome projects. Each one is a treat Jeanne!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to pull out my sunglasses for your cards and project, wow....they just sparkle like diamonds wrapped up in the most beautiful gold. Everything is classy and elegant and they are all show stoppers!!! That gold paper you used is so beautiful and the ribbon for the bows, a classy touch. The dies you used, just perfect for this kit!
ReplyDeleteStunning projects Jeanne! I thought all my projects looked pretty good, and then I come to your blog…….Gorgeous! The gold papers added such a richness and elegance to the projects. Love the way everything is framed up in the first one. This was a great kit and I love everything you made. You continue to amaze me!
ReplyDeleteWow, Jeanne--I knew your projects were going to be special--but WOW! These are amazing!! They are so elegant and gorgeous with all the gold and bling! Love all the layering and perfect details! One of my favorites in the wine bottle tag. What an incredible gift that would be!
ReplyDeleteFabulous projects! Each one so detailed!! Great job mixing patterns. So lovely!!
ReplyDeleteLook at that bow on the wine tag...WOW!!! Now that is a show stopper...and I love how you did all the layering with the dies on the tag, too :) I think that the first card is my favorite, though. The patterned paper combination and the 3 menorahs in a rob with the gold accent, just stunning!
ReplyDeleteGoodness sakes Jeanne! I just am oogling over your projects! You just poured elegance into all of them with the addition of the gold accents. That first card is outstanding with the hint of gold layering the middle menorah that is accented with blue gems! Love that detail! Then there's that second card with the perfectly matched ribbon and tied bow. Stunning! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous projects, Jeanne! I love the tiny gems you added to the menorah and dreidel and the beautiful gold accents. You really outdid yourself this month!
ReplyDeleteOooooh I see BLING! YAY! They're all gorgeous but I really do love that bling in your first photo! You are the layering master!
