CASE Study #64 - November 3, 2011 - Make A Wish

Are you ready for another CASE Study? I know I am! I gotta say that every time I do a CASE Study Challenge I am inspired to try something totally NEW (for me anyway!)! This week is no exception. The design this week is by the latest muse (Guest Designer) Kryssi Ng, from Sugar Buffet. As you can see the design has a cut out window - something I've seen before, but never really tried to duplicate. I was really excited to try this one and am really happy with how it turned out!

I've got to confess that I have a attachment to fairy tales, fantasy, and in particular mythical creatures. This goes back to my childhood and time spent looking through story books with fantastic illustrations that were my first introduction to art. Of course as a girl I loved horses and unicorns as well as Brian Froud illustrations of all things faerie.

That explains why I couldn't resist this carousel horse stamp by Inkadinkado. Although pink and purple are no longer my favorite colors, I am always welcome to an escape from the every day - and I think this card is just that.

Kryssi's card is so clean looking, and I'm afraid I turned it inside out! As you know CAS is not me! I totally girlied up this card with a double colored embossed matt, and lots of details! That's another great thing about CASE Study - you get inspired by a design and then make it your own! Although this card doesn't look alot like the example, I think you can see where I got my inspiration.
I hope that you are playing along - it's always fun to see all the different directions the sketch goes in!
