Your Friendship Warms My Heart

Thanks for stopping by! I hope your keeping safe and warm this weekend. Here in Northwest Indiana we got hit with ALOT of snow! I'm grateful to have neighbors looking out for me! They cleared the driveway and sidewalk for us!

Today I'm playing with the Pink & Main Winter Joy stamp and coordinating die set. I think these little guys are adorable and perfect for a snowy scene!

Whenever I receive a new stamp set I ink it several times and then color and cut the images. When it's time to play most of the work is done! I like to arrange the images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base before I commit and adhere everything in place.

I cut snow drifts from white cardstock and inked the edges with Salvaged Patina to add some definition to the two pieces. I layered these on top of a Distress Ink panel of Carved Pumpkin, Hickory Smoke and Blueprint Sketch. I'm not a big fan of gray but wow! It looks fab in this color combo. The inky panel is splattered with Peacock Feathers, Water and White Ink.

I added a sun/moon by cutting a scrap of yellow cardstock with a circle punch. I added glittery accents to the snowy trees and used On the Town Gems to add some sparkly snowflakes to the sky.
I love that the sentiments in this set have their own die cuts! That was unexpected and makes crafting a breeze! I had lots of fun coloring the images too!
This card is sure to make the recipient happy! I hope you're smiling! Hugs!

  1. I'm smiling at your cute card and your kind neighbors! We didn't get the snow, but we got the wind and bitter cold temps. Stay warm!
