Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're all doing well and that life is good. I'm seeing lots of chrysanthemums lately and this set came to mind... it's the Waffle Flower Chrysanthemums. I'm playing along at Shopping our Stash where this week the theme is
I'm no pro at coloring so my go to on florals is usually to color the petals different shades of the same color family. This gives a stained glass look and really defines the flower petals.
That gorgeous foil background is called Vintage Vine. It's a hot foil plate again from Waffle Flower. I added a strip of orange cardstock with a die from the Star Snowflake Set.
The foil plate was cut with a Nesting Stitched Rectangle die. This made trimming the hot foiled panel easy.
The sentiment is from an inked die cut punch out page that is available in black, gold, or silver inking.
I hope you find some time to play today. It's great for a "time out" and escape from the stress in your daily life. And yes.. it's cheaper than therapy! :P
