Especially For You

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today I'm playing along at Simon Says Stamp's Monday Challenge where they're looking for Bright and Cheerful. I think just about everything I make is bright and cheerful! I just can't resist color!

To kick it up a notch .. I mean more than rainbows and butterflies.. I added a shaker element to my card. I don't think anyone makes shaker's easier than Waffle Flower. If you haven't tried one of their shaker covers yet you really should. It couldn't be easier.. just cut a piece of paper to fit the inside of the shaker you select (or use a coordinating die), and ink it up - I inked a rainbow.

Then just add sprinkles inside the cover, insert your inky paper, and adhere the flaps of the shaker to the back of your inky panel. Bam you have a shaker! Just decorate it and adhere the shaker to your card base.

These pretty butterflies are from Waffle Flower - they're from the Spread your Wings stamp set. I colored the images with Copic Markers.

I used the 3.5" Flat Square Shaker but they're available in Slimline, A2, and circle shapes. I mounted the finished shaker on a Scalloped Square die cut.
