Countdown to Confetti Day 1
Cup of Friendship & Happy/Coordinates

Thanks for stopping by! It's a great day for a visit because we're counting down to Confetti! Today, May 5 - through Friday, May 7 we're sharing peeks at the new release. On Saturday, May 8 we'll be celebrating the release being available in the store with a blog hop.

Today we're showing two new sets - Cup of Friendship and Happy/Coordinates. This card actually features BOTH sets.
My card starts with a Distress Oxide Panel topped with a Stitched Circles Cover Plate. I added a panel cut from a Diagonal Stitches Cover Plate to create a solid background for the Happy/Coordinates die cut and sentiment.  The HAPPY word die includes a solid backgorund cut as well as the individual letters.
The Cup of Friendship Floral Borders outline the sentiment like a frame. The florals are colored with Copic Markers and the Happy word die letters are inked with Distress Oxide ink the same colors as the background panel.
The Happy Coordinates stamp set is loaded with different sentiments that coordinate with the Happy word and background die. You can choose from several different sentiments for the perfect card.

This card starts with a Distress Ink panel cut with the new Oval Window cover panel. I love the pretty stitched oval and see lots of possibilities for shaker cards and so much more.

This die actually cuts two ovals - a slim outline - that I cut out in white on my card - as well as the solid center oval. I thought it would be clever to flip the inky panel with the light green side up to contrast with the background.

I stamped a simple "hello" sentiment on the inky oval panel and inlaid it back on the card. There are a few different sentiments in the set so you have your choice.
I topped the completed panel with a Copic colored floral from the Cup of Friendship. It's adhered with adhesive foam tape for a little dimension. I was so tempted to add some sequins or enamel dots to this one, but decided it was so pretty jut the way it was.

Ready to see more cards made with these two fun sets? Here's a complete list of designers with projects to share today! Oh and make sure you leave a comment! There's a great giveaway!

I hope you'll stop by tomorrow when we'll be sharing more sneak peeks that you won't want to miss!
