25 Days of Christmas Tags Waffle Flower

Do you love tags? I know that I sure do! They're the perfect way to make original little masterpieces that come together quickly! They're a great way to dress up baked goods and pretty packages to make them extra special too!
Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags annual event is running in full swing. There's lots of prizes to be had just for playing along!

Today's sponsor is ..

Waffle Flower has a fabulous assortment of adorable stamps and dies. I love their stamps, but a HUGE standout for me with Waffle Flower is that all their dies are already cut apart ON A MAGNET SHEET. If you order a combo (Stamp and Die set) it comes in an envelope with two sections - one for the stamp set, and one for the dies. It's organization at it's best.
Whenever I receive a new stamp set I always stamp 10 of everything and then color and cut them all at the same time. This is a huge time saver when I go to make. There is always a pile of colored and cut images for me to work with. It usually goes pretty fast too because I don't have to figure out which color green or red I want to use.
These adorable Christmas Gnomes look great inked in other "every day" colors too and the stamp set includes other cute images for different times of year like a flower, acorn, and little bunnies so you'll be reaching for them all year round.

The background for my cute Christmas Gnomes is a Combo Swatch Tag. This tag/stamp set was designed to help you organize your supplies. The set includes a square stamp and lines for you to record the brand and color name of the ink/felt/refiller you're recording. When you're not using it for swatches it doubles as an all occasion tag!
I inked the tags with distress ink in Spun Sugar and Twisted Citron. I splattered it with water and white ink and stamped a sentiment from Classic Holiday Sentiments along the bottom of the tag with Versafine ink. Some images are adhered flat onto the tag while others (the gnomes) are adhered with adhesive foam tape for dimension.
I hope these simple tags inspire you to make one of your own so you can enter it in the challenge at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. I'd sure love to see you win. Just check out all these great sponsors!
