A Kept Life: Countdown to Confetti Day 1 Choose Joy & Perfect Timing

Are you ready for Confetti? Today starts the countdown to the March Reverse Confetti release that will hit the store on Sunday - March 8. We'll be showing peeks at the new release until then starting with today's look at the new Choose Joy and Perfect Timing stamp sets.

Choose Joy is a pretty stamp set that includes a pretty florals, a stamped circle wreath and some positive sentiments in a fun handwritten font.

I stamped the florals in bright reds and arranged them on a trio of circles in shades of blue for some big contrast.

That background? YES! That's new too! It's called DIAGONAL STRIPES COVER PLATE. You can position the card with the scallops face up or down.

I layered three panels of paper in shades of Confetti blues under the die cut panel.

My second card features a sentiment from the PERFECT TIMING stamp set. I inked it on a ROUND TOPPED TAG and layered it over a DIAGONAL STRIPES COVER PLATE.

This time I have the scallops faced down and I inlayed the rainbow color stripes using RC cardstock colors. The front panel is clean and smooth.

I embellished the card with hints of gold (Twine, eyelet, and enamel dots) because there is always gold at the end of the rainbow right?

The clouds are from the OVER THE RAINBOW die set. I almost included a little sunshine, but finally decided the rainbow background had enough going on! :P
