Sugar Pea Designs September Release Day 5 Floral Pocket

It's the very last day of the Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week. We've enjoyed sharing projects with the new September release ALL WEEK! Today we're closing with my favorites from the new release. 

This is the new FLORAL POCKET TAG. It's a folding tag Sugar Cut die with LOTS of die cut florals to decorate the pocket. I stamped the new BUFFALO CHECK on the inside of the light blue tag to give the tag a country feel. 

The pocket is perfectly sized to hold a gift card and looks so pretty decorated! 

You can use the same pocket die as the base for the new CHRISTMAS CHARACTERS. The Sugar Cuts die set includes everything you need to decorate the FLORAL POCKET TAG to make all five of these sweet characters. 

You adhere the die cut pieces to the full size side of the tag so the pocket will actually be on the back of these cuties. 

The set includes all you need but, I added silly eyes to all my characters to add a little animation. Half pearls in pink and red were used for berries in the holly to add dimension.   I added  a fuzzy pom pom on the tail of his hat too! 

I cut all the belt buckles with gold foil card stock for a metallic shine. 

The penguin arms are a one piece die cut that adheres behind the white body. I cut the FLORAL POCKET TAG from black card stock and adhered all the pieces to it. It's very easy to assemble all the pieces, and many of the die cuts have a dual purpose. 

The antlers on the reindeer are also the stick arms for the snowman. The tan chest of the reindeer is also the face of the elf. 

And the little belt for Santa and the elf is also the scarf for the snowman. I had so much fun that I made FOUR of each design.

These will make a great handout at school or work with a gift card or suckers tucked in the back.
