12 Kits of Occasions - Friends and Food

It's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.
Our hostess this month is Kim Heggins from Cupcakes Cards and Kim! Kim is an amazing lady! She's a former educator who loves baking cupcakes, sewing pretty bags (here's a link to her Etsy shop Running Stitch Design), going to concerts with her daughter and Mickey Mouse! Her kit is a wonderful representation of her!

Our theme this month is Friends and Food and she has included stamped images from Lawn Fawn, Ellen Hutson, Sugar Pea Designs and more. The pretty papers are from Lawn Fawn. The only ingredient from the kit that I didn't use was the twine ! Everything was YUMMY!

I made 4 cards.. here goes!

  5. So much sweetness here to love Jeanne! I love how you used the strips of printed papers on the first card. They are the perfect background for that stand-alone sentiment. I'm in awe of your layering skills my friend. You and Nancy take the cake when it comes to perfectly layered cards and I bow down to you both. Your cards speak volumes of joy! Happy October my friend.

  9. Jeanne so many fantastic cards using Kim's kit. You always use the best add ons for your posts. Right from the start the way you framed that friends sentiment and immediately following the great frame you created for the well will always be friends! The toast is perfectly coloured and I love all the yellow of this card. For the donuts, I could definitely go for a box of those yummy looking ones!!
