25 Days of Christmas Tags - Birch Press Design

Do you love tags? I don't think there's any nicer way to dress up a gift (even if it's a simple bag of home baked cookies) than with a pretty tag! During the holidays I want to make sure everything has a little touch of "home made".

My sweet friend Tracey McNeely is celebrating the EIGHTH year of her annual 25 Days of Chistmas Tags event. She's organized 25 days of tags of festivities! She's got a sponsor for each day and LOADS of great prizes. You can get all the details here on her blog!

The sponsor today is ...

You'll love the beautiful intricate layered dies from Birch Press Design. The layered dies are gorgeous stacked, but so pretty individually too. I used the Fiori Cover Plate Layer A for my stained glass look tag today.

I applied packing tape to the back of a panel of white card stock and then die cut it with the Fiori Cover Plate. The tape prevents the die from cutting all the way through and leaves a cut impression of the die on your card stock. I used the cut impression to color the panel. Next I covered it with a Elizabeth Crafts double sided adhesive sheet and adhered a second cut Fiori panel to the first. Then I sprinkled the panel with glitter to fill the sticky holes. Last I trimmed the colored panel to the size of my die cut frame to give it a finished look.
Head on over to Tracey's blog to get all the details on how to win some amazing prizes from all your favorite brands! Click here to jump to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags main post to get all the details.

  10. Wow, wonderfully striking and festive tag! Love the tip to apply packing tape to the back of your paper so the die doesn't fully cut.
