Fusion Card Challenge - Sending My Love

Wow things have been so busy for me lately!! The warm weather doesn't last long here in the Midwest so I'm trying to make the most of it. I've been running to the farm stand almost every day for seedling vegetables for the garden, and perennials and hanging baskets for the yard. I've been putting in two flats a day for the past several days and it's starting to wear on me! I'm having pains where I didn't know I had pains before! LOL! It's always nice to take a break and do some crafting in the air conditioned indoors. Sigh...
A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge - this one is called Floral Cupcakes! I was smitten with the soft pastels and icing that looks like lace on the cupcakes. So dreamy and romantic - maybe time for a wedding congratulations card? If you're not feeling the photo inspiration that's ok.. just work with the sketch. Feeling really clever? Fuse the image and the sketch together! I dare you! Here's what I made....
I started with a soft blue background that I stamped with a sentiment from Poppystamps Sentiments of Love set. Next I embossed the panel only up to the sentiment.
I added a die cut Finial Circle to mimic that pretty icing and topped it with a die cut Forget Me Not from Memory Box in soft pink and green.
I added enamel dots to the flower centers and that's all the bling it got! This is so clean but looks fussy!

I sure hope you'll play along - I can't wait to see how you interpret this one! You can get all the details on how to link up your design here at Fusion Card Challenge!
