Freshly Made Sketches - Joyful Angels!

I hope life's treating you good!  If you're like me then you look forward to a little quiet time to settle you down after a long day!  I've been so busy lately!  I'm used to Mr. J doing all the cooking outside when the weather is nice.  Now that it's cold again all the meal preparation is back on me!   I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.  I've made several trips to the store this week - because I've forgotten one thing or another that I need.  By the time I get it all figured out I expect it will be warm again and I'll be off the hook!

Today I'm playing along with Freshly Made Sketches blog Challenge!  I'm using all products from Pretty Pink Posh!  Here's what I made!

I knew I wanted the Joy Shaker Die to be my focal point. I inked up my card base with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, and then splashed it with some water, and then again with some watered down Picked Raspberry.

The sweet Angel Friends are my favorite this year!  There are several in the set with different expressions.  They remind me of statues my Grandmother had in her house.  There were three - one for me and each of my sisters.  Only to look!  Not to touch!  LOL!

My mom would always dress us in different colors - my outfits were always blue.

Wishing you peace and joy this holiday season and always!

  2. So adorable, Jeanne! Love your coloring of the sweet little angels. The 'joy' makes a wonderful background and I adore the watercolored pink.
