Fusion Card Challenge - Kindness

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you're having a great day!  I'm starting to feel drawn outside lately.  I love the wind in my hair and the sun on my face!   It's a treat after a long winter!   The yard seems to be coming alive, and lately it's one project after another.  We've been getting so much rain lately too!  Everything is GREEN!!  Thank goodness my son does all the mowing!  But the weeds!  So hard to keep them in check this time of year!

When I need a little "time out" to take a break I like to craft!  I love playing challenges whenever I have the time.  Fusion Card Challenge is one of my favorite places!  I never get stumped because I can work with either the sketch or the inspiration photo.

I tried to mix the sketch and the image together this time.  I started with a background of navy, added a sentiment from the new Pretty Pink Posh Thoughtful Greetings stamp set.
There's a pop of yellow in the photo from the flowers in the vases so I added some stamped daisies to the design.  These are from the new Pretty Pink Posh Bold Blooms.  I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with copic markers.

I used some clear droplets as accents - they always remind me of dew, and simple button twine bow.

Now it's your turn!  Need a little more inspiration?  Head on over to the Fusion Card Challenge blog for beautiful samples from the design team!

  2. Yet again, I've fallen behind in commenting, but hopefully, the oohs and aahs sent via the air waves have made their way to you! I'm completely captivated by your card; the pretty flowers, especially, catch my eye! We're still in the midst of 'sort of spring/sort of winter' here; even the leaves are biding their time in budding. Hopefully, we'll see green and 'colour' soon...'tis nearly mid-May, after all! Great to know you're enjoying time outdoors!
    Hugs~c
