Pretty Little Studio - Blue Hydrangea

Lots of you already know I'm a gardener. You didn't know? Well I guess that explains why I'm always gravitating to the flowers and natural elements in the Pretty Little Studio Shop. I am completely smitten with the new Woodland Collection. It's a nature lover's dream! Just look at the background papers with the dandelion seeds drifting and the pretty floral print.

I've got a little garden envy going on lately. I walk the dog every morning - the earlier the better - trying to beat the heat! LOL! I'm noticing hydrangeas everywhere - mostly white, but then I'll run across one in blue or pink - and it's surreal! I've tried to plant them before but I've had no luck - so when I saw the Blue Hydrangea die cut I knew I had to have it. If I can't have them in my yard I will have them in my crafty room! No complaints here! This die cut is simply gorgeous!

I like to break up pattern paper prints with strips of solid card stock so I added a border on either side of the prints. I added a bracket card as a matt for the blue hydrangea. I love the journal line print on them. The Bear Cub Pack includes lots of extra die cuts that are great for embellishing too!
The "Garden" die cut tags package is loaded with sentiments and die cut embellishments like this "Hello" I used on my card. I love that they're printed and die cut - ready to work with, in colors that perfectly match the papers from the collection.
I hope you have a great holiday weekend! Get outside and enjoy the weather, and let nature inspire your next creation!
