Poppystamps & Birch Press Design Blog Hop!

Thanks for stopping by! Today the Poppystamps design team is having a joint blog hop with Birch Press Design featuring products from both companies! . Dave Brethauer is the creator of Memory Box, Poppystamps and Birch Press Design. The Birch Press dies are innovative and unique. There are several different designs that feature three separate layers that make the dies STACKABLE. You can use any one of the layers by itself or adhere them together for a unique and elegant look.

You can make a beautiful background by using only one of the layers, but when you start stacking you get a beautiful intricate panel that looks like lace.   This is the Sevilla set.  Imagine the possibilities, mixing and matching colors.  
For my focal point I watercolored a panel with Peerless Watercolors (you can find these at Birch Press too).  I made a simple frame by cutting the Memory Box Open Studio Stitched Oval Layers to top the watercolor panel. 
Then I added a the Poppystamps Straw Flower die cut and the Decor Celebrate word die to the framed watercolor panel.   I double cut the word die from gold and white to add some shine.  Some gold enamel dots compliment the gold die cut.

    I love this card, these dies and this hop! So many beautiful new dies and so creative. This card is just gorgeous with the colors used and that Straw Flower die in the middle of the oval.

    Your card is perfect for this time of year the transition between summer and autumn as it has that warm feel with the anticipation of a crisp morning and love those background dies too, but I'm guessing $25 would only nearly cover shipping to the UK at present ,but hope the winner will enjoy the dies they choose.
