CardMaker & Twinery Blog Hop

The theme for the hop today is fall so I created a card with colorful stamped leaves on the top and a stamped wood grain on the bottom.  Through the middle I have a rainbow of colored twine in beautiful fall colors. 

I played around with different ideas for wrapping the twine round the card and found this one the most fun.  I took a long length of twine and folded it in half.  Keeping the looped side of the length on the right, and the two ends on the left wrap the twine around the entire top flap of the card.  Then I pulled the ends through the loop on the right.  Just like you would thread a tag.  I like that I didn't have to glue it in place so the strands are movable, and it created a really pretty fringe on the end of the card.
