Twinery & Ruby Rock It!!

The Twinery is teaming up with Ruby Rock It for a blog hop today. Actually the hop is in progress - it's a 3-day hop with lots of projects to see from so many designers.  This is day three.   If you are hopping along today you should have reached me from Katarina Damm-Blomberg's blog. If you want to start from the beginning you can find a list of all the designers participating on each day as well as how you can win some blog candy at The Twinery Blog, or at Ruby Rock-It Blog.

I got to work with an asian inspired paper set called Oriental Chic!  There are lots of beautiful paper in navy, burgundy, and neutral colors that are all perfectly coordinated.  They have excellent quality double sided card stock with pretty patterns, and many of them have foil accents.   There is also a matching sheet of journaling cards, and other pretty embellishments - like stickers and wood accents.
I cut this image from a 12 x 12" sheet of journaling cards, and accented it with a gold foil die cut and a little tassel I made from The Twiner Gold Shimmer Twine.
This little geisha girl (or maybe she is a kokeshi doll?) is one of the gold foil stickers. I adhered her to a wood embellishment. Some braided and knotted Twinery Solid Natural Twine makes a pretty accent.
I used more of the stickers from the collection on this design.  I used a window die cut and placed the foil stickers behind the windows so they will peek through.
The foil accents are all through the collection and some Twinery Gold Shimmer Twine adds to the sparkle.
Ready to see more?  Your next stop on the hop is Monique Liedtke.  Make sure you leave a comment as you hop to be entered to win.

Here's the complete hop list for your convenience.

LOVE the designs and pretty layers!!!
On your 1st card, I LOVE the image layered with gold & then the wood die cut , finished off perfectly with the twine tassel, on your 2nd card, I LOVE the wood die cuts and knotted twine, they're a great contrast to the gold doily & pretty paper; and last but definitely not least, I LOVE paper combo and shiny foils, the windows look delightful, along with the scalloped edges too!!!
