SSCB#33 - Welcome Home!

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  Are you gearing up for the 4th of July?  Have you got the BBQ ready to go?   I'm sort of disappointed that it falls on a Friday this year so I'm going to protest and celebrate on Saturday!    LOL!!   With all the storms rolling through the midwest lately I'll be happy if we have some good weather for either day if you want the truth.

A new challenge begins today at Serendipity Stamps Challenge blog and this time you're asked to use some twine on your project.  Our sponsor this month is The Twinery and we're giving away a sampler pack of assorted colors to one lucky winner.

I'm going to share a little "behind the scenes" for this one.  I know I've told you that Mary, the owner of Serendipity, always tries to make the challenges interesting for the design team.  Well for this one,  in addition to using twine, she asked the DT to make something based on the theme "It's Hot!".  So as your looking at all the DT projects keep that in mind.   I decided to go with this front porch image that just screams summer to me.   I see small town America all decked out for the big parade through town.  To add a little more "heat" I gold embossed the image.

So have I got you curious now? Do you want to see what else is "hot"? Check out what the rest of the design team made for this one. We have a special guest this month too - my Twinery and Waltzingmouse teamie Jen Cuthbertson! Give her a big hello!!

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!  Have a wonderful holiday!
