Roll With It!

What a difference a day makes!  One day you are down in the dumps, and by the next morning it's a whole new day that's all yours to start again!  Isn't life great?  I can't believe yesterday snowed - yes ALL DAY!  We got pounded with about 7" of snow and we had to shovel twice so it wouldn't get too heavy to lift.  It's getting pretty tall which makes it all the harder to shovel because you have to throw it higher!  I did get to experience something pretty neat while I was out there. I've never seen lightning and heard thunder during a snowstorm before.  That was so extraordinary and I'm glad I got to witness it.   Today you would think yesterday was just a dream.  The sun is shining and the snow that's been hanging around for weeks is MELTING!  Rain is running off the roof and down the driveway.   Who would ever think I would be delighted to see the sidewalk again?
Today I'm playing along at the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge.  This week is "anything goes".  I thought this sentiment was really appropriate for today.  That sushi and fancy drink (in my mind it's a Blue Hawaiian - yes I did give it a little thought!) don't look so bad either!

I hope the sun is shining wherever you are and that you're having a beautiful day!

Hugs!

  1. Jeanne this is so fabulous, a great background for this. I need a kick in the pants! I bought this set two month's ago and filed it! Time to break it out.

  3. What a super fun card. I don't like sushi, but even I might eat it if it were really as cute as on your card. And, the blue Hawaiian, too. So glad things are warming up your way.

  4. LOLOLOL....Thunder snow..that is my favorite!!! Last year our weather man said we'd get a dusting, then a freak storm rolled in and the lightning and thunder and we were burried...hahaha! Dusting my butt...that was crazy, but beautiful all at once. Sounds like our winters are nearly the same. I laughed at your post because I'm so excited to see the sidewalk again too even though I know it's getting covered back up tomorrow with more snow. oh well...
Hey...thank you so much for the visit and the sweet comments on my blog. I've been in domesticated mode lately and haven't been in the craftroom, but today I'm back and thoroughly loving your latest blog posts.
Hope you're doing well, staying warm and always creative.

  5. Fun image and sentiment! Y'all had thunderstorms too...weird at this time of year! Another 7" ....my parents were wondering about the melting and potential flooding! We had 10" snow/sleet... Even with the 70' weather not everything CIA melted!
