A Waltzingmouse Christmas - Candy Jar

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  Are you ready for some brand new Waltzingmouse goodness?   Did you hear there are three new sets and loads of dies to coordinate with previously released stamp sets?   Today the Waltzingmouse Design Team is showing you sneak peeks of the latest release - Alpine Christmas.  Half of us will be showing you projects made with Alpine Christmas, and the other half (me included) are showing projects made with the new dies.    I decided to mix both sets together - placing the Alpine Christmas village inside the candy jar die  to create a snowy scene!  I have to tell you these new dies make assembling your projects super easy!  The dies are "window" style making them really easy to line up over your stamped image for a perfect cut every time!

 I made two versions of the same card - one all fussy here: 
 And one clean and simple.  I stamped, window cut and embossed the front and placed it over the stamped village scene.  I couldn't resist adding a little bling - a baby twine bow and the same ribbon flower as on the first version.

    Now this is just adorable! I love your little scene - its like all those fabulous little jelly jar snowglobes popping up on Pinterest! Major cuteness. Love this die, too!

    Love that your version of CAS still includes a little bow...just not as big or poofy as your fussy version. This is so pretty with those village images stamped in red and green. I like that you used traditional colors for the village but pretty blue for the rest of the card. Great combination Jeanne.

    I LOVE this idea of the stamped village in the candy jar! With that sweet sentiment! As always a gorgeous bow.....then you go and make the CAS soft blue embossed card.......I LOVE that look too! Same stamped idea done both fancy and CAS brilliant!

    Fabulous cards Jeanne! I am super excited about the latest WMS release - especially the dies to match the stamps that I've already got! I have told Santa that I've been a good girl this year, so I'm hoping he'll listen and head on over to the Waltzingmouse store!

    Instead of "Oh my stars" I am saying "Sweet scene is a jar!" from now on, heeee! That is too adorable and creative for words. Love them both, but the sweet impressed background with the mini snowflake topper stole my heart today ;)!
