Poppystamps Birdie Wreath

Have you been checking out the new Poppystamps releases?!  From Sept. 4 through Sept. 17 the design team is posting projects with the new releases and giving away one die or stamp per post.  All you have to do is comment on the posts you want to enter by Sept. 20. Today I get another chance to post and and give away a prize.   While there are lots of new dies to pick from there are also some new stamps with coordinating dies.  My project today features the Birdie Wreath stamp and die  The stamp is the prize for today's post .  I hope you will hop over to the Poppystamps Blog and leave a comment for your chance to win!!  There will be up to two posts per day so you will want to check back often!

The stamp was really easy to color with Copic markers.  The die is the window type making it really easy to line up the image for a perfect cut every time.
There is even a smaller die included for the inside of the wreath so you can create a window.    I usually use a piece of tape to hold my dies in place while they go through the die cut machine.  To hold that center piece in place without messing up your stamped image use a piece of repositionable tape.  At the office supply store I found a whole roll of tape made by that company that makes the little yellow stickies.  It's really convenient because you can tear off just the amount you want and you can even reuse it.

Here's my finished card.

Thanks for stopping by for a look - now go leave a comment on the Poppystamps blog for your chance to win!!

  4. Really cute...love all the pink lately and that is such a great idea to have a die to cut out the center if you want to. I really like this one Jeanne...the bow and the neat edge to your card.

  7. Looks like a great combo. Love the way the die cuts so close to the image. You add such charming details--the scalloped edge and the leaf sprig on the sentiment--everything looks so sweet with all the pink!
