RR#57 Picnics - Like A Sister

If you love ribbons, and lace and pretty trims then look no further.  The Ribbon Reel is the place for you.   Every two weeks they sponsor a challenge.  If you join us you could win a sweet discount off your next order.
Look at the fabulous inspiration photo selected by Helen.    What a feminine picnic basket all set out for tea! It's enough to get me day dreaming..!!    Its a celebration of the outdoors.  You are to create a project using the colors in the photo and use lace ribbon, twine and flowers.    I got all wrapped up in that lovely piece of embroidery on the basket and went from there.  I kept with a sewing theme and added a some buttons, a pin and a little skein of floss.

I hope you will join us and link up your creation at the Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog.  If you'd like a little more inspiration or just want to see some eye candy check out the rest of the DT creations here.

  8. This is so very feminine and lovely, Jeanne. I would make a royal mess using 4 kinds of fibers on one card, but you did it beautifully (no surprise there).
